At Berthi, we've laid the groundwork for a sustainable future because Mother Earth deserves some love too. Committed to leaving a better world for our babies, we're dedicated to minimizing our environmental impact. Here's how we're making it happen:

Poly Bags

Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.  Our garments come wrapped in certified home compostable poly bags from our manufacturer and into our warehouse.  This is part of the process you will never see, as your garments will be delivered beautifully wrapped in tissue when they arrive at your door.  

Our comPOST Range meets a number of stringent tests for Compostability. The Australasian Standard, AS5810, is one of the toughest to achieve (they even check to make sure the products are non-toxic to worms!).  

Fabrication 

All of our garments are made from 100% organic cotton.  Outside of being buttery soft and breathable touch to your skin, organic cotton is a more sustainable solution.  Put simply, it is grown without pesticides from seeds that have not been genetically modified. Organic farming practices avoid using harmful chemicals while aiming for environmental sustainability and the use of fewer resources.

Stickers

Our stickers are made with acid-free, FSC-certified paper, ensuring 100% compostability and recyclability.  Using a non-toxic adhesive, they're compost-friendly, printed with soy-based inks, and easily disposed of in your household compost.

Tissue Paper

Using sustainable soy-based inks, our custom tissue paper is FSC-certified and made from recycled materials.  It is printed on acid-free paper and can be easily recycled or added to your home recycling system. 

Packaging 

Our branded Berthi boxes contain 70% recycled materials, striking the right balance between strength and eco-friendliness. Reusable and recyclable, they're manufactured using environmentally conscious printing processes that reduce volatile organic compound emissions, protecting air quality and promoting sustainable manufacturing.
